Aims and Scope

Aim:

The Basrah Journal for Engineering Sciences (BJES) aims to serve as a premier international, peer-reviewed platform for the dissemination of high-quality original research and review articles in engineering science and its applied technologies. It is dedicated to advancing knowledge both in theory and in practice, by publishing work that demonstrates innovation, rigor, and relevance to real-world engineering challenges....

Scope:

The Basrah Journal for Engineering Sciences (BJES) welcomes a wide range of manuscripts of engineering science, including but not limited to:

  • Civil, structural and geotechnical engineering

  • Mechanical, industrial and manufacturing engineering

  • Electrical, electronics, and information engineering

  • Chemical, materials and process engineering

  • Environmental, water resources and sustainable engineering

  • Aerospace, automotive and transportation engineering

  • Biomedical and bio-engineering systems

  • Computational, mathematical, simulation and modelling methods in engineering

  • Emerging and interdisciplinary areas (e.g., nanotechnology, IoT, robotics, artificial intelligence applied in engineering contexts)

It publishes original research articles, review papers, short communications and case studies that provide significant contributions to the body of knowledge. Submissions may include theoretical analyses, numerical simulations, experimental studies, design and implementation of technologies, and applied investigations with implications for industry, society and sustainability.
